Public Relations Task Force
The Task Force, consisting of member district Public Relations Administrators, meets to share information related to their roles and tasks. They address issues such as dealing with the media, crisis management, communications, marketing, and a myriad of other duties that they take on as spokespersons for the district. Critical in the current educational environment, the translation of teaching and learning success to the community can mean enhanced collaboration and trust and improved partnerships.
The task force participates internally to enhance mentoring and networking. They have also worked collaboratively to plan and carry out an association-wide Spring Event focused on marketing our districts. This task force often joins others to add their expertise on issues facing our urban districts.
