Internal Risk Control Audit Program (IRCAİ)
![]() |
IRCAİ is a program developed by the Trust membership to help members to evaluate and improve their institution's risk management efforts through an auditing format. In essence, IRCAİ provides a blueprint for implementing a risk management program. |
The program consists of a self audit and a Trust audit. The self audit provides members with a self-administering risk control tool that: 1) identifies major or key exposures of loss at the district level; 2) provides an appropriate risk control technique for controlling the exposure to loss; and, 3) provides assistance in evaluating current efforts in controlling a particular exposure to loss. The Trust audit verifies compliance with the self audit. The IRCAİ program establishes basic risk control standards for controlling common educational hazards or exposures to loss. Some of the common loss exposure categories include: |

The IRCAİ program received PRIMA's 1996/97 Outstanding Pool Program Honorable Mention Award. This is the first award granted to any school pool and identifies the IRCAİ program as one of two top risk management pool programs.
