Director of Membership Outreach and Communications

Middle Cities Education Association seeks to fill the Director of Membership Outreach and Communications position.  The successful applicant will be an organized, self-starter who will implement the tasks below: 

·         Develop yearly outreach plan

·         Administer monthly member task force meetings

·         Write and edit weekly updates to membership

·         Manage content on MCEA website and Facebook page

·         Organize, write and design a variety of yearly publications

·         Report to superintendents at 3 statewide meetings

 Skills:

·         Written and spoken communication

·         Website, social media management

·         Membership outreach

·         Event planning

·         Graphic design

 Qualifications:

·         Bachelors degree in communications or related field

·         Some experience in membership outreach, communications, or public relations desired

·         Knowledge of K-12 education policy preferred
